Welcome to sum - bookshop by day; wine bar by night; community always.
We’re seriously playful about wine + books, and the kind of connections that only happen when you put down your phone and pull up a chair. Whether you stop by for a solo read with a glass in hand or a night of lively conversation with strangers-turned-friends, sum is your space to sip, unwind, and mingle.

Weds - Fri: 16:00 - late
Sat + Sun: 13:00 - late
What to expect: Come by during the day for coffee, bites and a read or to explore our collection of books for purchase. Come by in the evening for wine and conversations.
Reservations: We don't do reservations as we always want to be able to welcome spontaneous plans, so come early to secure a space!
Silent reading night: Every Wednesday join for an hour of silent reading from 18h - 19h. Grab your book and come to sum, most people come alone or with friends and have a chat before or after reading.

Quiz night: The 2nd & last Thursday of every month we host a general knowledge (+ fun out of the ordinary rounds) quiz. Teams of 4, 2€ buy in pp, bar voucher for the winning team. The quiz starts promptly at 19h, come early to grab a seat & a drink. We sell out quick, so get tickets below to secure your spot!

Book club social: Thursday 16.04 from 19h. sum book club social is where good books meet good people. No pressure, no pretence, it's more about the people than the book. Our April book pick is: Fever Dream by Samanta Schweblin.

Flash festival x sum: on the 17.04 flash festival meets sum, come join for a night of Italian food, djs & tuscan wines! Oooh, what's not to love (amore).

sum ½ birthday: on 18.04 it's our half birthday! we know it's a bit extra, but you're only ½ once! Drink deals, djs & cake - come celebrate with us!

Club Baguette food Pop up: On the 25.04 we'll have the amazing club baguette serving up french sandwiches at sum, from 13h til sold out!

We have natural wines on tap and a changing selection of glasses by the bottle. A rotating batch cocktail and beer and soft drinks for non-wine lovers.

During the day we offer tea and coffee and a selection of changing pastries and small bites.
